Surface Mounted Swimming Pool Lights
All surface mount fixtures bolt directly to the pool wall or floor. No niche required. Two material options: our PC (polycarbonate) fixtures are designed for inground commercial pools; when installed in above-ground and vinyl-liner pools, weight and cost come in to play, and stainless steel is the right choice. Pond, garden water feature and waterfall lighting solutions also have different engineering challenges than pools. Most Koi pond owners select warm white (2700K-3000K) to bring out natural fish coloration - reds and oranges tend to pass under cool white. LED low heat output / zero UV radiation are safe for aquatic life, whereas halogen is a serious heat source just above water level which can quickly increase local water temperature and stress fish in shallow features.
Small beam angles (15-30) excel at waterfall uplighting and direct rear lighting of rock features. 60 wide beams are ideal for general pond floor lighting.
