What “waterproof” actually means on our fixtures.

Consumer-grade lighting used “waterproof” as a marketing catchphrase; the IEC 60529 code is the engineering statement. For our catalog, each SKU receives a rated and labeled against its own IP number pair, and the driver, junction box, and transformer components all have an IP rating of their own. Basic electrical code for your project requires the electrician to interpret those digits- our diagrams provide them.

Factors such as the polygon deck shape/sizes, beach-entry shelves, diving platforms, glare control from specular water surfaces, and minimums for emergency-lighting all impact the final layout.
